Member Meeting, Monday, March 9, 2021

We are having our Monthly Member Meeting on Monday, March 9, 2021
at the Circle of Life Thunderbird House at 4:15 pm.

Remember, with our new By-Laws, you can attend virtually, We have Skype, or you can phone yourself into the meeting.

Please bring indoor footwear.

As always I will be making something warm and nourishing. I'm thinking Chicken and Wild Rice Soup with Bannock.

For those who come for more than the food, the meeting proper begins at 4:30 pm.

We are reviewing the Conference and Banquet as well as planning for next year.

Drum Making Workshops at Thunderbird House

A.C.E. is happy to announce our Drum Making Workshops are being held in March.

We have finalized our Hand Drum Making Workshop for
March 14 & 21, 2015 from 10am - 3pm.

Space is limited to 12 people, so register early to ensure your place.

Participants MUST attend all day, BOTH DAYS.

A.C.E. Members can register of $200, which includes teachings and instruction from our Elder, Wanbdi Wakita, all Drum Materials, a Healthy Lunch and the Ceremony and Feast. Non-Members can register for $250.

A limited number of community subsidies are available.

We have finalized our Grandfather Drum Making Workshop for
March 7 & 21, 2015 from 10am - 3pm.

A.C.E. has space to make TWO (2) Community/Grandfather Drums at our Grandfather Drum Making Workshop,

Space is limited to2 Drums, with a minimum of 6 participants for each drum,
so register early to ensure your place.

Participants MUST attend all day, BOTH DAYS.

A.C.E. Members can register of $1200(per Drum), which includes teachings and instruction from our Elder, Wanbdi Wakita, all Drum Materials, a Healthy Lunch and the Ceremony and Feast.
Non-Members can register for $1500(Per Drum).

A limited number of community subsidies are available.

Counting Down to The Big Events!

It's the final few days before the Doors open to the Evergreen Ballroom and the blessing of the A.C.E. 12TH Annual Conference on February 12, 2015!

While we can hardly wait to see old friends and meet new ones, there is still lots more to do.

We are having our Member Meeting on Monday February 9, at 4:15pm at 715 Main Street [that's the Circle of Life Thunderbird House] with great beef stew and bannock and a bag stuffing for all things Conference.

However, it doesn't stop there. Deborah will be moving part of the the Office and all of the Event materials, including the Silent Auction items, over to the Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport Hotel, on Wednesday so things will be ready for Thursday.

On Wednesday evening there will be a Wrap Party. We actually wrap baskets at the Hotel, in the Evergreen Ballroom, for the Silent Auction. We are still looking for volunteers for the Party. There will be food attached to the party ..don't all good parties have great food???

If you have time and want to help set up, please come to the hotel, 1715 Wellington Avenue from 5-8pm on Wednesday, February 11 and lend a hand.

Finally, it's not too late to register for the Conference. [The truth be told, we usually have last minute arrivals and we always have enough room for anyone who wants to attend.]
